Safaricom Launches B-Live: Flexible Time-Based Data Bundles to Empower Kenya’s Digital Lifestyle

Safaricom has launched B-Live, a groundbreaking time-based data bundle designed to transform how customers experience the internet. With this new offering, customers can enjoy uninterrupted browsing for specific durations, tailored to fit their needs. The options include 1 hour of data for KES 20, 3 hours for KES 50, and 6 hours for KES 150. This flexible approach allows users to stay connected in a way that aligns with their personal lifestyle. Whether students are attending online classes, content creators are streaming or uploading, or professionals are working remotely, B-Live offers the ideal solution for all.

This innovation enhances Safaricom’s existing range of traditional MB/GB data bundles, providing customers with even more choices. “We understand that our customers have different needs. Some prefer to manage their data in MBs or GBs, while others simply want the flexibility to access the internet for a specific period of time. By introducing this option, we’re putting the control back into the hands of our customers, allowing them to focus on what matters most – whether it’s learning, creating, connecting, or hustling,” explained Fawzia Ali-Kimanthi, Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer.

B-Live further strengthens Safaricom’s commitment to enabling Kenya’s digital lifestyle. By expanding its bundle options, Safaricom ensures that every customer, whether they are youth, creators, entrepreneurs, professionals, or hustlers, has the freedom to choose what works best for them.

To access the B-Live data bundles, customers can dial *544# or *555#, and select from the available hourly bundles: 1 hour for KES 20, 3 hours for KES 50, or 6 hours for KES 150. This new offering is designed to provide a seamless and affordable internet experience for all Safaricom customers.
